Homemade Uncrustables

My son loves Uncrustables but I think $1.00 a sandwich is ridiculous! These homemade ones will cost .035 a sandwich! With the left over crust you can make bread crumbs or a breakfast casserole! I went on Amazon and for $8 bought the Wonder bread crust remover/ sandwich sealer

You will need:

A loaf of bread (I used the Wonder bread)

2 tablespoons Peanut Butter or Almond butter. (I used both)

2 tablespoons Jelly ( I used reduced sugar)

1. Start by placing your favorite peanut butter (I used almond butter in some) and jelly filling (I used reduced sugar jelly) in the middle of one piece of bread. Make sure to leave some room on the outer edges, where the sandwich will seal.

2. Place the second piece of bread on top, and use sandwich sealer by pressing and holding firmly for 30 seconds.

3. Make sure to remove crusts while the sandwich is still in the press or glass.

One loaf makes 10 sandwich! I made a variety with different jelly flavors and switch between peanut butter and almond butter.

Want to cut calories? **Use reduced sugar jelly **
